SMLS SDSS PIPE is designed to handle highly corrosive conditions and situations requiring high strength. It has an austenitic + ferritic duplex organisation and the content of the two phases is essentially equivalent. The result is a tube with good weldability and very high mechanical strength. Our steel tube is polished and has a smooth surface without burrs. It is available in a wide range of sizes and specifications to meet different requirements. Due to its excellent properties, SMLS SDSS PIPE is often used in power plants, chemicals, mechanical engineering, aviation and many other industries.

The high molybdenum, chromium and nitrogen content of SMLS SDSS PIPE helps the material to resist pitting and crevice corrosion. In addition, the material is resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking, erosion corrosion and acid corrosion. Compared to austenitic stainless steels, it has a high strength, especially a significantly higher yield strength.
