It is cold rolled and cold drawn, with a solution annealed and passivated surface, and has neat, burr-free edges. The strength of ASME SA790 Duplex Pipe is approximately twice that of conventional austenitic or ferritic stainless steels. Therefore, in some applications it is possible to reduce the wall thickness and save material. In addition, despite its high strength, it still exhibits good plasticity and toughness. Even at very low temperatures, such as - 40°C/F, it retains good toughness. What's more, it is cost-effective and saves you money.
