Basic Tubing: The most popular and widely used form of stainless steel tubing on the market is standard stainless steel tubing. Because of its excellent weathering, chemical and corrosion resistance, 304 and 316 stainless steel can be used for decorative purposes in typical environments such as houses and buildings. SS304 and SS316 are not recommended for high temperature industries (between 400°C and 800°C), but SS304L and SS316L are preferred and used instead.

Hydraulic Line Pipe: Small diameter gasoline lines and hydraulic systems use this type of pipe. These pipes are very strong and corrosion resistant as they consist of stainless steel in 304L or 304 versions.

Aircraft Stainless Steel Pipe: Stainless steel pipe made of nickel and chromium is used in all aircraft applications because it is both heat and corrosion resistant. Low carbon stainless steel is the first choice for welding stainless steel pipe and components. Aerospace structural materials produced to the Aerospace Materials Specification (AMS) or Military Specifications are used in applications requiring seamless and welded pipe.

Pressure Stainless Steel Pipe: Pressure stainless steel pipe is designed to withstand intense pressure and heat. They can be welded to specific gauges and have large diameters. These pipes are made of austenitic and ferritic steels, also known as nichrome or solid chromium.

Mechanical Tubes: Stainless steel mechanical tubes are used for bearing and cylinder applications. For applications requiring mechanical piping, grades ASTMA511 and A554 are typically used. These mechanical pipes are available in a variety of shapes, including square, rectangular and round, and can be built to order.
