Three major characteristics of stainless steel pipes
Stainless steel water pipes can be seen everywhere in our daily use. I believe many friends are asking why there are so many stainless steel pipe products in our lives, so we will help you from the three major characteristics of stainless steel pipes. It's easier to understand.
1. Corrosion resistance
Most stainless steel products require good corrosion resistance. Stainless steel pipes are similar to Class I and Class II tableware, kitchen utensils, water heaters, drinking fountains, etc. Some foreign traders also tested the corrosion resistance of the products: heating the NACL aqueous solution to boiling, draining, washing, and drying the solution after a period of time, and measuring the weight loss to determine the degree of corrosion.
2. Welding processability
Welding performance requirements vary from product to product. Welding properties are generally not required for cutlery, even by some pot companies. But most products require raw materials with good welding properties, such as Class II tableware, thermos bottles, steel pipes, water heaters, water dispensers, etc.
3. Polishing
At present, stainless steel products are generally polished during the production process. Only a few products such as water heaters and drinking fountain linings do not require polishing. Therefore, this requires the raw material to have good polishing properties. The main factors affecting polishing performance are as follows:
1. Surface defects of raw materials. Such as scratches, pitting, water immersion, etc.
2. Stainless steel pipe raw material issues. If the hardness is too low, it will be difficult to polish during polishing (BQ is not good). If the hardness is too low, orange peel will easily appear on the surface during deep drawing, which will affect BQ performance. High hardness BQ is better.
3 After deep drawing, small black spots and RI high imitation DGING will appear on the surface of the deformed area, which affects BQ performance.
