Stainless steel pipes are now used more and more widely. Due to their good corrosion resistance, they play a vital role in engineering construction. During the production process, we need to perform solution treatment on stainless steel pipes. The main purpose is to obtain a certain degree of performance. Stenite increases the hardness of the product. Let's take a look at the solutions for stainless steel pipe processing:

(1) After solid solution treatment, heat to (760±15)℃. Since Cr23C6 carbide precipitates from the austenitic 904L stainless steel pipe, the content of carbon and alloy elements in the austenitic 904L stainless steel pipe is reduced. For 90 minutes, Ms The temperature is raised to 70°C, and then cooled to room temperature to obtain the martensite + α ferrite + retained austenite structure. Aging at 510°C decomposes retained austenite.

(2) After high temperature adjustment and cryogenic treatment, first heat the solution to 950°C and keep it warm for 90 minutes. Due to the increase of Ms point, a small amount of martensite can be obtained after cooling to room temperature. Afterwards, a certain amount of martensite can be obtained by cold treatment at -70°C and heat preservation for 8 hours.

(3) After the 904L seamless pipe is solution treated by cold deformation method, it is cold deformed at room temperature to form martensite. The amount of martensite formed during cold deformation of 904L seamless pipe is related to the amount of deformation and the composition of 904L stainless steel pipe.

The above three methods are commonly used solid solution treatment methods for stainless steel pipes. I hope they can help you.
