There are three commonly used polishing methods for stainless steel pipes: mechanical polishing, chemical polishing and electrochemical polishing, each with its own advantages and disadvantages.

1. Mechanical polishing of stainless steel tubes.

The advantage is that the parts processed from stainless steel pipes have good levelness and high brightness. Its disadvantages are high labor intensity, serious pollution, messy stainless steel pipe parts that cannot be processed, their luster cannot be combined, and the luster of the stainless steel pipe lasts for a short time, causing rust. Mechanical polishing is suitable for simple processing of small and medium-sized products.

2. Chemical polishing of stainless steel pipes.

The advantages of chemical polishing are low investment in processing equipment, throwing away messy parts, fast speed, high efficiency, and good corrosion resistance. The disadvantages of chemical polishing are poor brightness, gas leakage, ventilation equipment required, and difficulty in heating. Chemical polishing is suitable for processing small batches of messy parts and products that do not require high brightness of small parts.

3. Electrochemical polishing of stainless steel tubes

Electrochemical polishing has the advantages of long mirror gloss, stable process, less pollution, low cost, and good corrosion resistance. The disadvantages of electrochemical polishing are high anti-pollution, large one-time investment in processing equipment, tools and auxiliary electrodes for messy parts, and mass production requires cooling equipment. Non-electrochemical polishing is suitable for large-scale production and is mainly used for products, export products and public service products. The processing technology is stable and the operation is simple.
