Automobile industry:

Stainless steel is mainly used in exhaust systems, accounting for more than 1/2 of the total stainless steel used in automobiles, and 80% is ferritic stainless steel. The exhaust gas produced by the car engine passes through the exhaust gas intake pipe, head pipe, hose, torque converter and center pipe, and finally flows out of the muffler. Common steel grades for exhaust systems are 409l, 436l, etc. Automobile mufflers mainly use stainless steel welded pipes.

It is estimated that stainless steel pipes for automobiles account for about 1.5% of the total downstream stainless steel throughput, while the usage of stainless steel seamless pipes and welded pipes is about 2:1.

The petrochemical industry includes the fertilizer industry:

The demand for stainless steel pipes is extremely high. The industry mainly uses stainless steel seamless pipes. The specifications are: 304, 321, 316, 316L, 347, 317L, etc.

The wall thickness is about 6mm-50mm (generally choose medium and low pressure conveying pipes with specifications above φ159mm), and the specific application fields are: furnace pipes, material conveying pipes, heat exchange pipes, etc.

Water, gas and other fluid transportation:

Stainless steel pipes and their water conveying equipment are the most advanced basic water purification materials in the world, with strong anti-corrosion properties, which cannot be compared with cast iron pipes, carbon steel pipes, and plastic pipes. The best material for water production, storage, transportation, purification, regeneration, desalination and other water industries.

The annual demand is about 25,000 tons.

Equipment manufacturing and maintenance:

The annual consumption of stainless steel pipes is more than 20,000 tons. Such industries mainly use sanitary or antibacterial stainless steel pipes. The sanitary seamless pipes produced by imported SUS304 and 316L can meet the special requirements of various media in the fields of food and biopharmaceuticals. Antibacterial stainless steel has the advantages of stainless steel and good antibacterial properties. It is in increasing demand in the fields of kitchen equipment, food industry workbenches and utensils, medical equipment, daily tableware and towel racks, refrigerator racks and other fields.
