Product Description
Round stainless steel pipe is made by forming a steel sheet into a tubular shape and then welding the seams. Both hot forming and cold forming processes are used to manufacture stainless steel tubes, and the cold forming process produces smooth surfaces and tighter tolerances than the hot forming process. Both processes can produce corrosion-resistant, high-strength and durable steel pipes.
Stainless steel is also easy to clean and sterilize, and can be easily welded, machined or bent to form curved shapes. The combination of these factors makes stainless steel pipe an excellent choice for structural applications, especially those where the pipe may be exposed to corrosive environments.
