Overview

TP310S 1.4845 Stainless Steel Tube is an austenitic stainless steel developed for high temperature corrosion resistance applications. Easily welded and machined by standard shop fabrication practices, TP310S 1.4845 Stainless Steel Tube can be used for light oxidation, nitriding, cementing and thermal cycling applications. Also available for low temperature applications with low magnetic permeability and toughness down to -450oF (-268oC).

Features

TP310S 1.4845 Stainless Steel Tube is intended for ease of fabrication. It has a resistance to oxidation of up to 2010oF (1100oC) under mild cycling conditions. Due to its high chromium and medium nickel content, alloy 310 is resistant to sulphiding and can also be used in a medium carburising atmosphere. Due to its high chromium content (25%), it is more resistant to corrosion than most heat resistant alloys.
